Aelah Sophia (she/her)
Young Adult Mentor & Educator, Creator of Wild Flowers Camp for Girls Aelah Sophia has 15 years of experience in creating healthy communities, supporting young adults, healing and empowering through well-being. She co-leads a divine feminine wisdom community in Brevard and is a trauma-informed yoga & meditation teacher and sound bath facilitator. Her passions are living as closely to wild nature as possible, supporting our younger generation in living their heart's purpose, and tapping into the power of sound to help us remember our joy, and resilience and ability to re-create new possibilities. Alexandra Elisabeth / Alex (she/they)
Somatic Experiential Nature Educator-Activist, Co-Founder of Ripple Forest School Alexandra Elisabeth co-founded Ripple Forest School after teaching for several years at Firefly Forest School, Wild Nature Project, and Nature Learning Community. Alex is a Wilderness First Responder, Guild Certified Feldenkrais® Practitioner, and holds a Master of Music degree. In addition to forest school, she teaches Awareness Through Movement® classes and works with clients individually to help them improve their movement and live easier. Alex loves teaching social-emotional skills, movement exploration, sensory awareness, songs, bird language, and edible & medicinal plants. She comes from a lineage of teachers that includes Jon Young, Tom Brown Jr., and Stalking Wolf (Lipan Apache), and her teaching style is influenced by her understanding of neuroscience, learning, & development from the Feldenkrais Method. Both in her outdoor and somatics work, Alex's passion is helping people connect with themselves, others, and the natural world in an embodied and experiential way. Alex feels most at home barefoot in the forest, is a lifelong learner and voracious reader, and loves to sing, dance, and move. |
