Group Classes
Awareness Through Movement® (ATM®)

Join Us For a Group Movement Class
I have been attending this class since the beginning & it has changed my back pain to no pain. This is a wonderful program! Thank you." - Robin
Alex’s classes are very peaceful and there’s no stress or pressure. That quiet hour each class is itself something I treasure.

I was fortunate in that a frozen shoulder problem I’d had for several months cleared up after a session. I’d been through physical therapy, chiropractic, and even steroid shots with no relief. A simple class with reaching and trying to move in different ways gave me relief by the next day. That’s so cool."- Kim

Alex's guidance allows me to slow down and be mindful of my body. I appreciate how her instruction does not distract from the experience--instead, it enhances it. Every time thus far, I have gleaned insights about myself. It has challenged me to think about movement and the connection of the mind and body in new ways. I have learned to appreciate my body and my senses more. I have learned to view the world with a "beginner's mind," to observe and take in every experience with more consciousness of how I am holding myself as well as awe for our body's perpetual feedback. Feldenkrais is a practice that is truly understood through experiencing it, and I highly recommend giving it a go!" - Justin, Fitness + Nutrition + Lifestyle Coach

In recovering from a stroke, these Feldenkrais classes with Alex have improved my balance and given me a better understanding of body mechanics, motion, and functionality." - David B. Teague, PhD, Retired Professor of Mathematics
This class has improved my bodily & mental awareness! The small movements have a relaxing and restorative effect. Alex is skilled with the process and makes it interesting and fun. She also provides outside reading and resources on Feldenkrais which is so helpful! I wish everyone knew about this practice. I tell my health providers/acupuncturist about it and spread the word!" - Jennifer Alm, University Librarian
Through these classes, we seek collective liberation by cultivating authenticity, honoring uniqueness, and celebrating individuality. Everyone is welcome and will be treated with dignity and respect.

My aim is to make Feldenkrais accessible and inclusive to everyone, and I welcome your constructive feedback on this. Please talk with me if you need any accommodations. If you would like to attend but finances are a hinderance, please talk with me. I am open to sliding scale, trades, and other options.
